I grew up in my father's Tool & Die shop, where I developed an appreciation for precision machining, tight tolerances, and the attention to detail that goes into making a part right. As a kid, I would occasionally tag along when we visited other shops to have certain operations done on our parts. One of those was a welding shop, and I was always drawn to the bright arc of a welder, despite being repeatedly told not to look at it. I eventually took an introductory welding course in college, but it was TIG welding that really caught my attention. There was something about its calm, almost surgical precision that appealed to me. I spent hundreds of evenings alone in the shop honing my skills, learning through trial and error until people began seeking me out to do work for them. Eventually, I decided to turn that passion into a business of my own.I'm drawn to unique projects that challenge me to think creatively and solve problems. I enjoy working through an idea with a customer, developing a design in CAD, and figuring out how to bring something from the ethereal into the physical world. For me, there's a particular satisfaction in taking an idea that exists only in someone's imagination and turning it into something tangible. Once a project is complete, I'm generally happy to move on to the next challenge rather than build the same thing over and over. Every project presents an opportunity to learn something new and push my abilities a little further.I'm constantly challenging myself to improve, always striving for flawless execution, even when I know perfection is a moving target. I approach every project as if it were my own, pushing my craftsmanship to the best of my current ability. Whether it's a clean, precise TIG weld, a carefully fitted component, or a creative solution to a difficult problem, I want the finished product to reflect the thought and care that went into it. My background in machining has shaped how I approach fabrication, and I believe that precision and aesthetics should go hand in hand.I also believe good work starts with good communication. I enjoy bouncing ideas around with customers, understanding what they're envisioning, and working together to figure out the best way to make it happen. Every craftsman brings a different combination of experiences and abilities to the table, and that individuality is something worth appreciating. At the end of the day, I'm here to solve problems, build thoughtful, well-executed parts, and create things that wouldn't exist without the collaboration between an idea and the hands that bring it to life.Ready to build?
